Find best releases

Seanime has a built-in extension for SeaDex which indexes highest-quality torrents.

Find NSFW content

Seanime has a built-in extension for Nyaa Sukebei which indexes adult content. Make sure turn on the Enable adult content switch in your NSFW settings.

Missing episodes

Seanime will display missing episodes for all your anime entries on the Schedule page.

Media entry

Auto Downloader

Seanime allows you to automatically download new episodes as they are released. It does this by periodically checking the RSS feed of your chosen provider for new episodes and downloading them based on the rules you set.

1. Enable it

The auto-downloader settings allow you to configure the following parameters:

  • Enabled: Whether the Auto Downloader is enabled.
  • Use Debrid service: Use Debrid service to download torrents instead of qBittorrent/Transmission.
  • Enhanced queries: Use multiple search queries based on the different release groups.
  • Verify season: Verify the season number in the torrent title. (This is not needed for most cases)
  • Interval: The interval at which the Auto Downloader checks for new episodes.
  • Download immediately: If turned off, the Auto Downloader will add found torrents in the "Queue" tab instead of downloading them immediately.

2. Create rules

You can only create rules for anime that are airing or upcoming

A rule is a set of parameters that determine which episodes to download. Each rule has the following parameters:

  • Comparison title: The title of the anime to compare parsed torrent titles against.
  • Type of match: The type of match to use when comparing the comparison title with the parsed torrent title. The available options are:
  • Most likely: The scanner comparison algorithm will be used to determine if the torrent matches any of the anime titles.
  • Exact match: The parsed torrent title must contain the comparison title.
  • Episodes to look for: The available options are:
  • Recent releases: Episodes that are not present in the library, and you have not watched.
  • Select: Only the episode numbers you enter will be considered if they are not present in the library.
  • Resolution: The quality of the episodes to look for (e.g., 720p, 1080p).
  • Release group: The subgroup of the episodes to look for (e.g., SubsPlease).

Rule

Debrid

You can use Debrid services to download torrents instead of qBittorrent/Transmission. They provide a safer and faster way to download torrents.

1. Enable it

2. Configure Auto Downloader

Enable the Use Debrid service switch in the Auto Downloader settings to use Debrid for downloading torrents automatically.

Make sure not to forget this step if you plan on using the Auto Downloader with your Debrid service

3. Search & Download

You can now start downloading episodes using your Debrid service. Once the download is complete on their server, Seanime will in turn download the files to your local machine.

The torrent list will show cached torrents that are instantly available.
